TL;DR - You can now share any recording with a link. Control who sees it with public, password, or email-restricted access. We also simplified our pricing into three clear tiers: Free, Starter, and Pro.

You just finished a screen recording. Maybe it’s a quick bug walkthrough for your team, a product demo for a prospect, or a tutorial for your users. Until now, you had to export the video, upload it somewhere, and send the file.

Now you can skip all of that. Hit Share in the editor, and Tight Studio gives you a link. Your viewer opens it in their browser - no downloads, no accounts, no waiting. The video starts playing immediately.

You decide who can watch

Not every recording is meant for the whole internet. That’s why every shared link comes with visibility controls:

Public - Anyone with the link can watch. Great for demos, tutorials, and social posts.
Password-protected - Viewers enter a password before the video plays. Perfect for client deliverables or internal reviews.
Email-restricted - Only the email addresses you specify can access the video. Viewers sign in to prove their identity. If someone else tries the link, they can request access and you’ll be notified.
Private - Only you can view. Useful for keeping a video hosted without sharing it yet.

You can change the visibility at any time from your share dashboard - no need to re-upload.

Every shared video lives in your dashboard at app.tight.studio. You can see view counts, change titles, update visibility settings, and manage email access lists - all without opening the desktop app.

With shareable links, we now host and serve your videos - which means added infrastructure costs for storage, bandwidth, and delivery. We’ve updated our pricing to reflect this, while keeping things as affordable as we can.

Pro - $24/month ($16/month billed yearly)

Everything in Starter, plus AI voiceover and AI media generation. You get 1,000 AI credits per month - enough for 200 minutes of AI voice, 250 generated images, or 50 five-second AI video clips. Need more? Just reach out - we’re flexible.
