1. Audio Data for Captions

When you use our captioning feature, we send your audio data to ElevenLabs solely for the purpose of generating captions.

• The audio data is immediately deleted from ElevenLabs after processing.

• Neither we nor ElevenLabs use or will use your data to train any AI models.

• We do not store any audio data on our servers.

2. Caption Segmentation with OpenAI

To create natural and readable caption segments, we use OpenAI's API to process the transcript text.

• Only the text transcript is sent to OpenAI, not the audio data.

• The text is used solely to determine optimal caption segment breaks.

• OpenAI does not store or use this data for training purposes.

• Processing is done in real-time and data is not retained.

3. Screen Recordings

All screen recordings are processed locally on your device.

• We do not upload your recordings to the cloud.

• You retain full control and ownership of your recordings.

4. Usage Analytics

To improve our service, we collect limited and anonymized usage data, including:

• An anonymized IP address for download and application usage metrics.

• No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data and ensure it is never shared, sold, or misused.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page.
